Nikolay Misharev Photography

We hired Nikolay to take pictures of our wedding day and we couldn't be more pleased. Nikolay takes great pictures. He wants his subjects to look their best and he is very good at giving instructions; making small adjustments to make the pictures great.

Nikolay was on time and took all of the pictures of the bridal party getting ready. He made everyone feel at ease during that process. He took photos of the ceremony from EVERY angle. You don't see him getting into position, he is very stealthy and doesn't draw attention to himself. During the cocktail hour, my wife and I stole away with Nikolay to a nearby park where he did a great set of candid photos of the two of us. He has great creativity with the shots and made us look our best. During the reception, he took a portrait of every single person (70+) that was in attendance. We were able to use these photos to send with our thank you cards. Nikolay was always in position to get the best shots and if he missed something, he wasn't shy about asking us to repeat it.

Nikolay is the real deal, he knows photography, he is really easy to work with, and we believe he is the best value for the money going in the bay area.

I found Nikolay via google and was leery at first. Being as he was not a large vendor. However, he quickly put me and my husband at ease. He was great during the wedding, we got a ton of compliments about him.

We had Nikolay for our engagement and we decided to go with him as our photographer for our wedding as well. What we really liked about Nikolay is, on our wedding day, he came an hour early and was able to capture some of the best shots of our families as they were preparing for the event.

we also loved the fact that he was able to capture the delicate details and colors that go in an south Asian wedding. He also didn't seem to mind going that extra mile to capture the moment and those priceless expressions. He enjoys what he does and its very obvious when he is clicking away pictures during the wedding ceremony. The real challenge was sorting and filtering (for sharing purposes) over two thousand pictures that he provided us because every picture seemed better than the previous one.

We would highly recommend Nikolay for any event because not only he does a spectacular and professional job but because you will have priceless pictures and happy memories for rest of your life.

We recently hired Nikolay as our wedding photographer. The wedding was at the Stanford Memorial Church and the reception was outside at a golf course. He took a lot of photos throughout the day, both traditional staged wedding photos and photos that documented the day and our guests. Overall, he was a pleasure to work with and we were extremely happy with the quality of photos that he took. We definitely recommend him to people searching for a wedding photographer.

Nikolay Misharev is a very talented photographer. He photographed my wedding in July 2006 and captured ALL the spectacular moments of that special day. His keen eye for composition, technical expertise, and his gentle and professional manner make him a delight to work with. His pricing is very affordable and he puts you, his client, first. His dedication and passion for photography is evident in his desire to get that perfect shot and in the time he puts into his projects. On our wedding day, he arrived very early in the morning to accompany me and my daughters to the hair salon where he took beautiful pictures of us as we were preparing for the ceremony. He didn't miss any detail and took pictures late into the night at our reception. Not only were the posed shots wonderful, but Nikolay also took some amazing candid shots of our family and friends.
